FINDING INTANGIBLE REALMS

In my work, I seek to create a world that elicits very real emotions while not representing any kind of physical reality. Each piece is a ‘landscape’ that invites you to explore a realm that exists just beyond the limits of our everyday lives.

 

I see my paintings as portals to emotional worlds. The layers and layers of marks, shapes, drips and flecks are like little visual obstacles to catch your eye as it moves into the depths, further and further, wandering around and through.

My aim is to create a moment of escape from the here and now - and you can choose where you go!
